About Jennifer

I am a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, and a graduate of the year-long program at the Yoga life Institute in Exeter, NH. I am certified to teach classical yoga, a traditional form of yoga, having its origins thousands of years ago.

I currently teach at fitness centers and well-care facilities that are part of two local hospitals and also at various assisted living communities in southern New Hampshire.

I chose to teach Chair Yoga, feeling that I am able to help those who may not feel comfortable doing a mat yoga practice, to experience the wonderful benefits of a clear, focused mind and strong, balanced body in a yoga class that is welcoming to them.

I have practiced yoga for 30 years, and the inner calmness and focus that my yoga experience has given me, has led me to sharing that balanced lifestyle with others.

My professional approach is to collaborate with my clients and help them achieve a better sense of health and well-being. Drawing upon my training and yoga background, I guide our poses and breath in a gentle and clear manner.

It is my goal, through Chair Yoga, to help people experience ease and comfort in their physical bodies and their minds, allowing them to do what they love in life with peace, calmness and balance.
